If you’re looking to get your own YouTube account, but don’t know how to start off, there’s a quick and easy way to do it. Just follow these simple steps.
1) Go to YouTube and sign in.
2) Click on the Account button in the top right corner of the screen.
3) Enter your email address and password into the appropriate fields and click on Sign In.
4) Once you’re logged in, click on My Videos in the left column and then on Upload videos from here (you may have to scroll down).
5) Underneath the video you want to use as your example, copy the URL (the long string of characters at the bottom of the page).
6) Go to your browser’s location bar and type in that URL. You’ll see a green “Play” button next to it. Click on it to open the video in a new window.
7) Now click on Edit Video Info at the top of that new window. Under Creator Information, paste in the ID that you copied from YouTube (it should look something like this: 18F02D53-BBAF-48DD-8A96-FCCCB2A49EBB). Then click on Save Changes.
That’s all there is to it! Now you’ve got your own YouTube account!
